Fergal Nash is an independent singer-songwriter from Limerick whose current music page features ‘When the Stars Go Blue’, ‘Diego’ and ‘It’s Just the Way That I Live’. His Bandcamp catalogue reaches back to 2013, giving listeners more than a decade of albums and singles to work through.
Guitar Hooks Sit at the Centre of the Sound
Fergal’s catalogue is rooted in guitar-driven rock, with catchy melodies and occasional slower ballads broadening the sound. Guitar remains a consistent thread even as the pace, subject and emotional temperature change from one release to another.

‘Diego’ shows another side of Fergal’s writing. Released in November 2025, the song is an emotional tribute to Argentine footballer Diego Maradona and considers both the brilliance of his career and the difficulties surrounding his fame.
Fergal wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered the track himself, with Benedikt Hain credited as assistant engineer. The subject and slower delivery give the song a more reflective character than the straightforward rock energy heard elsewhere in the catalogue.
His current music page places ‘When the Stars Go Blue’ alongside ‘Diego’ and ‘It’s Just the Way That I Live’. Released in July 2026, ‘When the Stars Go Blue’ extends his output beyond the three singles he released during 2025.
